NEWS AND UPDATES

2010-04-10 OVF Images (ready to use iLAP 1.3.3 installation for almost all
available virtual machines like VirtualBox, VMWare, etc.) and
ImageJ Plugins for iLAP Release 1.3.3 are ready for download.
2010-04-08 (latest) iLAP Release 1.3.3 is out. A test instance can be found at the
demo site. System improvements:
  • User-definable rating of files and experiments
  • LIF- file format support for the preview
  • Comments of dataobjects can be edited
  • Comparison of experimental protocols was improved and generalized
  • Google Chrome support added and Netscape Navigator support removed
  • Tomcat upgrade from 5.5.27 to 5.5.28
  • Bug-fixes in the Genome- and in the XML-based usermanagement
2009-12-04 The first Paper about iLAP is out in its final
version. (see BMC Bioinformatics or PMID: 19941647)
Supplementary Materials
2009-10-20 iLAP Release 1.3.2 is out. A test instance can be found at the
demo site. Some key faetures are:
  • Improved usability and bugfixing
  • Preview matrix for all files attached to experiments,
    projects and analysis steps
  • BigPreview for files in popup window
  • Comparison of protocols
  • Fixed critical bug in genome usermanagement
2009-05-08 iLAP Release 1.3.1 is out. A test instance can be found at the
demo site. Some key faetures are:
  • Improved usability and bug fixing
  • XML-Im/Export-format switched to Common Protocol
    Exchange format
  • General availability of iLAPExplorer ImageJ-Plugin
  • Automatic synchronization with OMERO Server Beta4
2008-10-23 iLAP Release 1.3.0 is out.
Some key faetures are:
  • Improved usability e.g. clipboard for protocol development,
    enhanced printing for protocols
  • XML-Im/Export for protocol exchange within the iLAP community
  • Automatic post-processing infrastructure with preview generation
  • Automatic synchronization with OMERO Server Beta3.1
  • MacOSX support
