GRAZ UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY
INSTITUTE FOR GENOMICS AND BIOINFORMATICS

The Institute for Genomics and Bioinformatics at Graz University of Technology is committed to molecular biomedicine and bioinformatics and explores novel molecular mechanisms and targets for the prevention and treatment of metabolic diseases such as obesity and diabetes.

Our topics cover research from cells to in vivo studies in (transgenic) mammals, management and processing of high-throughput screening data as well as the development of databases and tools for their computational analysis.

The international and interdisciplinary team of bioinformaticians, biologists, chemists, engineers, and mathematicians at our institute build a creative and inspiring environment to address hot topics in life sciences.
